Frequently Asked Questions
I signed up for your free ad yesterday and it hasn't been activated yet. Why?
If you have signed up for our free advertising promotion, your ad will be activated within 72 hours
of submission. We must manually check that you have added our link to your website to be qualified for the free ad.
Do I have to pay for my free ad once the 90 days are over to keep it active?
No, you do not have to pay for the free ad once the 90 day period is up. We make the
free ads expire after 90 days so that old ads will be cleared from our website. If
you are still trying to sell your dog/puppy after the 90 day period is over, you are
welcome to sign up for the free ad again. You can do this by creating a new free ad OR
by contacting us to let us know that you would
like to reactivate the old ad.
You can receive free ads with us as long as you continue
to have our link on your website. You can have 1 free classified ad and 1 free dog breeder's listing
active at one time.
I paid for an ad and still do not see it. Why?
If you paid for an ad and do not see it, you were probably not sent to our ad setup page after payment. If this has happened to you
please contact us and we will get the ad setup for you immediately. Once we have
setup the ad for you, it will be active but will not show on our website, until you have changed the ad's title from "Title here".
You will need to login to your account to edit the ad's title and description. You will also be able to add photos upon login.
I emailed myself through my ad to test it and I have still not received the email message. Why?
We scan emails sent through ads on our website, to detect con-artists as well as spam. So your test
emails may be delayed slightly, but be assured that they will be received by you within 24 hours on weekdays
and possibly up to 72 hours on weekends. Most emails are sent to you within hours of receiving them in our system.
We want to protect our advertisers, and feel that this is necessary, so that you will only receive quality inquiries about your dogs.
I can't get my photos to upload to my ads. Why?
Photos must be in JPEG (.jpeg) format only. If the photo's file size is over 100 KB in size
it will not load properly either. If you do not know what file size your pictures are, you can right-click on the picture that you are planning to use, and select the ''Properties'' option.
This will allow you to see what size the file is.
It will need to be reduced using software that compresses the image's file size such as
Adobe Photoshop Elements or Adobe Photoshop CS3 to upload it to the ad.
There is even free image compression software that you can download that will convert your
images to a jpeg format and reduce it's file size for you. If you do not have this software or cannot get this software
we will gladly reduce the photos file size for you and upload it to your ad.
Just email the photos to us at
admin@puppiesanddogsforsale.com. Please be sure to send us an email using the
email account that you signed up for the ad with, and the type of ad that you are uploading the photo to so that we will know
which ad the photo belongs to.
